Please note that every order is custom made and pattern placement will naturally vary. Due to the personalized nature of each curtain panel, all sales are final.
Step 1: Measure the Width
Measure the width of your curtain rod from end to end, not the window itself.
For a full, luxurious appearance, your total curtain panel width should be 1.5 to 2 times the width of your curtain rod.
Example:
- Curtain rod width: 60"
- Recommended total curtain width: 90"–120"
Step 2: Measure the Length
Measure from the top of the curtain rod to where you want your curtains to end.
Popular curtain lengths include:
- Sill Length: Ends at the windowsill for a casual look.
- Floor Length: Hangs about ½" above the floor for a clean, tailored appearance.
- Puddle Length: Extends 2–6" onto the floor for a soft, elegant look.
Step 3: Hang Your Curtain Rod Higher
For the illusion of taller ceilings and larger windows, install your curtain rod 4–8 inches above the window frame whenever possible.
Extending the rod 6–12 inches beyond each side of the window also allows more natural light into the room when the curtains are open.
Choosing the Right Fullness
The amount of fullness changes the overall style of your curtains.
- 1.5× Fullness: Clean and modern
- 2× Fullness: Rich, classic, and the most popular choice
- 2.5× Fullness: Luxurious designer appearance
Measuring Tips
- Always use a metal measuring tape for the most accurate measurements.
- Measure twice before placing your order.
- If you're between lengths, we generally recommend choosing the longer option for a more polished look.
- Consider your curtain rod, rings, or clips when measuring finished length.
Our curtains are thoughtfully crafted to add style to your home. Proper care will help maintain their appearance for years to come.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Wash with similar colors.
- Do not bleach.
- Tumble dry on low or hang to air dry.
- Remove promptly after drying to minimize wrinkles.
- Iron or steam on a low setting as needed.
For best results, periodically vacuum curtains using a soft brush attachment to remove dust and keep fabrics looking fresh.
