How it All Started
Suzan started her curtain studio almost 30 years ago. It quickly expanded when she was contracted to work closely on set with many film production agencies; as Wilmington, NC is a hot spot for the film industry. Her concepts and designs have been featured on TV shows and movies.
Unveiling OurPillowStudio.shop in 2012, we meet the highest standards for high-quality pillows, designer fabrics and pillow inserts so that they may be enjoyed and remembered for years and years.
Our Products
We offer all handcrafted-to-order pillow covers and window treatments. We pride ourselves in outstanding quality and want every customer to be 100% satisfied. All of our products are made in a smoke and pet free home studio. I hand-pick the most trendy, high-quality fabrics available.
How it Works
Our pillow people came together one by one like a fine wine pairing. At the center of the operation are our 4 constants, with some guest stars during our peak times.
Suzan, the founder and fearless leader can usually be found working remotely from her traveling van making sure the team is dotting those i's and crossing those t's. She's the Charlie to our Angels.
Becky is the woman behind the machine, making sure our backup team stays on top of coordinating those zipper colors.
Janine and Mara switch hit on all our other operations and marketing, at times backing up Limecat when it comes to customer service needs.
In addition to making sure our customers get the best pillows possible, you can also follow the fun on our social media pages where we post quirky videos in our downtime.

I have a bit of an obsession for fabric. Its a great feeling to take a piece of fabric and turn it into something beautiful. Pillows are my niche.
Becky
Maker
Becky is our resident circus extraordinaire. When not swinging from the ceiling, Becky was adding costuming details to her repertoire of sewing skills. Now she prances her way thru the studio some days, while customizing those pillows.
Janine
Maker
Janine moved her way through the fashion industry in the mean streets of the north, ending up beach side still playing with fabric - cutting it up and putting it back together making home decor a little more beautiful with each custom order.
Mara
Maker
Mara is our resident chanteuse. Outfitting the team in original designs from her previous clothing line and still serenading crowds on the side, Mara now is a full time pillow partner.
